Tantuvaya was born in Kochi, Kerala – a city where tradition and creativity have always coexisted. The name itself speaks to our roots: tantu, meaning thread, and vaya, meaning to weave. We are, at our heart, a brand built on the art of weaving stories into every product we make.

We started with a simple belief: that the things you use every day should be made well, designed thoughtfully, and built to last. In a world of fast fashion and disposable goods, we chose a different path.

Every Tantuvaya product is designed in Kochi and brought to life by skilled artisans across India. We work closely with local weaving and stitching communities – craftspeople who have honed their skills across generations.

By working with artisan hubs across the country, we help preserve traditional techniques while creating products that feel entirely contemporary.
